The Request for Proposal (RFP) is expected to be released in 4QFY20 with a contract award expected to be 3QFY21 or 4QFY21. Please note: Platform Integration will be the responsibility of the respective platforms’ Government program offices and is not covered under the CVRi2 Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) contract.ĬVRi2 is currently planning on a tailored DoD Instruction (DODI) 5000.02 acquisition. AFNWC is seeking responses from potential sources ((both prime and specialty contractors (specializing in specific areas)) relating to industry’s ability to achieve the technical requirements of the SRD and feedback is desired on the scope of the SOW. The CVRi2 program office is seeking feedback on the draft Statement of Work (SOW) and draft System Requirements Document (SRD).
TLC272CP VLF RECEIVER SOFTWARE
CVRi2 will field an advanced receiver system based upon open hardware and software architecture standards and with growth capacity that will support current and future VLF waveforms and signal processing techniques. The B-2 VLF receiver system consists of a terminal/radio, antenna, and a human-machine interface display. CVR Increment 1 is fielded hardware and software necessary to provide a basic receive-only United States military VLF communication capability for nuclear command and control critical Emergency Action Messages on the B-2. The CVRi2 program is managed by the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, Nuclear Networks Division (AFNWC/NCN), Hanscom AFB, MA. What’s more, the bulk of a lightning strikes energy is deposited between 2KHz and 10KHz. This band has the unique characteristic of having a portion fall within the audio frequency range of our ears. CVR is an acquisition program that will field Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) VLF reception capability in increments. The Very Low Frequency (VLF) band is located in the frequency range between 3KHz and 30KHz.
